An own goal by Mert Muldur completed a Netherlands comeback as they beat Turkey 2-1 on Saturday to book a Euro 2024 semi-final with England. Turkey had taken a surprise lead through Cengiz Under in the 15th minute, but the Netherlands levelled through Matthijs de Ligt just before half-time to set up a tense second half. With the match heading towards extra-time, Muldur turned a cross from Memphis Depay into his own net in the 85th minute to hand the Netherlands a dramatic victory. The Netherlands will now face England in the semi-finals on Wednesday, while Turkey will take on the Czech Republic in the third-place match on Thursday.
