Born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1971, Shannen Doherty began her acting career at a young age. In 1982, she landed the role of Jenny Wilder in the final season of the popular TV series "Little House on the Prairie."

Before joining "Beverly Hills, 90210," Doherty made a brief appearance in the film "The Secret of NIMH." In 1990, she landed the iconic role of Brenda Walsh on the teen drama series. Her character was known for her rebellious nature and turbulent relationships.

After leaving "Beverly Hills, 90210," Doherty went on to star in various TV shows and films, including "Charmed," "90210," and "Heathers." She also documented her nine-year battle with breast cancer in the reality show "Shannen Says."
