Emma Raducanu makes history at Roland-Garros
British No.1 reaches second round after stirring comeback
Raducanu is the only British woman to reach the second round at Roland-Garros this year
Emma Raducanu has made history at Roland-Garros by becoming the only British woman to reach the second round of the tournament this year.
The US Open champion produced a stirring comeback to beat last year's junior champion, Linda Noskova, in three sets on Wednesday.
Raducanu, who is playing at Roland-Garros for the first time, was handed a tricky first-round draw against the 17-year-old Czech.
But the British No.1 showed her fighting spirit to come from a set down and win 6-7 (3-7) 7-5 6-1.
Raducanu will now face Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the second round.
