A new app is helping animal shelters find the perfect homes for their pets. AnimalShelter PLITCH uses AI to match animals with potential adopters based on their personality and needs. The app also provides shelters with real-time data on the animals in their care, such as their medical history and adoption status. This information helps shelters make better decisions about how to care for and place their animals.
AnimalShelter PLITCH was founded by two former animal shelter employees who saw a need for a better way to match animals with homes. The app launched in 2021 and has since been used by over 1,000 shelters across the country. PLITCH has helped over 100,000 animals find their forever homes.
